A vacancy for a Payroll/Accounts Adminstrator has arisen in a established firm of Chartered Accountants based in Sutton, Surrey.
The role is varied and includes responsibilities for running several payrolls for various clients which includes preparing P45's, payslips, monthly reports etc.
Keeping clients books and records upto date from a wide source of documents
Reviewing and reconciling bank statements
Checking and preparing clents spreadsheets for the Accountants to be able to prepare quarterly VAT returns
The ideal candidate will be motivated, friendly and able to work in a close knit team. You will need to have a high attention to detail and must be able to work to tight deadlines which is vital when preparing client payrolls and carrying out VAT work.
The ideal candidate will need to have strong working knowledge of Excel and knowledge of Sage would be an advantage. This role offers the scope to progress and eventually take on the year end and employer returns, SSP, and SMP calculations.
