Work with the other members of the Senior Management Team to ensure that the appropriate business development strategy and support is given in line with the overall agency business objectives
Business strategy and planning
Working with the US and UK business managers to develop and direct the global commercial strategy to support overall agency strategy.
Annual plan – new business strategy and organic growth
Direct the monthly forecasting process to ensure accuracy of monthly financials
Provide active input into the Senior Management Team including a monthly management report
Working with the Leadership team, input to building the annual forecasts and Business Development P and L
Working with the Financial controller direct the annual review of procurement led MSA and purchasing strategy across the UK global business
Oversee the direction of the marketing and sales plan to ensure alignment with the overall companywide strategic plan
Leadership
Direct the organisational structure for the commercial team, ensuring that all members of the UK commercial team understand his/her role and is committed to fulfilling it
Working with the CSD’s empower and encourage all members of the commercial team to develop their skills and knowledge through effective learning and development
Working with the CSDS provide clear direction on how individual roles within the commercial team support both the overall agency and the commercial strategy
Develop Client Service Directors (CSD) to full potential through effective line management and leadership

Work with CSD and UK commercial team to direct the implementation of annual goals and objectives.
Collaborate positively with all members of the leadership team to direct a positive cross functional culture in the organisation.
Client Service Excellence
Working with the client service directors, direct the implementation of a global account management process for all priority clients
Work with client service directors on the implementation of client service levels to deliver strategic partnerships, based on openness, honesty and trust
Product and service
Working with the leadership team in informing the product and service offering through client feedback and market knowledge and awareness
.
Working with the Managing Director and Global Medical Director to identify strategic alliances which will enable the agency to expand its global offering.
