Job Background:
Responsibility for revenue targets associated with assigned client projects/accounts. Manage the successful delivery of assigned projects, including direct participation in delivery tasks, as necessary (Note: the mix of project responsibilities between meeting, publication or e-media projects will depend on project/account allocations and may change over time with internal resourcing needs and/or business profile.) Manage allocated project resources for effective and efficient delivery, including proactive deadline and budget management Be client focused, proactively identifying opportunities to support client and add value to service, thereby enhancing client satisfaction Proactively identify process enhancements to optimise quality of delivery and project profitability Identify, and highlight to Senior Management Team (SMT), business development opportunities within assigned accounts
Job Duties:
Build and maintain positive KOL relationships Financial: o prepare internal spreadsheets and client budgets o prepare budget reconciliations within 30 days of project completion o issue invoices and track invoicing o ensure payment of supplier invoices o Trouble shoot project delivery issues, highlight these to the Management team as necessary, and propose solutions Develop and maintain project status documents for client Maintain an organised email filing system and ensure all project files are saved appropriately on server Manage meeting events on-site (UK and overseas) Attend client meetings (UK and overseas) Assess project resource requirements on an ongoing basis and identify appropriate resource to fulfill these, in discussion with the SMT as appropriate Develop and maintain project time and events schedules Brief freelancers/suppliers effectively Ongoing liaison with project team members and suppliers to ensure effective project delivery
Job Qualifications:
Relevant experience of medical communications or pharmaceutical businesses Good relationship builder Understanding of pharmaceutical marketing objectives and principles Appropriate level of the following skills o Project management and leadership o Multi-tasking and organisation o Interpersonal and communication effectiveness o Negotiation o Presentation Attention to detail
