Our client is the UK affiliate to a global healthcare organisation who are dedicated to discovering new medicines, new technologies and new ways to manage health. We have a rare opportunity for a Senior Account Exec or junior Account Manager working in ethical healthcare to work the other side of the fence. Taking on this new role of Communications Specialist you will work across 5 ethical brands delivering PR and medical education programmes. In addition 20% of your time will focus on corporate and internal communications.
Job Duties:
Working within the Communications Team, the Communications Specialist is responsible for the execution of brand and corporate (internal & external) communications programmes. Activities will include:-
• Media relations
• Issues/crisis management
• Agency management
• Patient group/professional organisations and KOL relations/management
• Event management
• Write a broad range of materials
• Web management
• Support CSR activities
Job Qualifications:
Degree qualified (or equivalent) Healthcare PR experience (agency or in-house) Excellent communication skills (written and oral) Exceptional interpersonal skills Influential relationship builder Excellent planning and organisation skills Driven and enthusiastic
