Job Background:
Seasoned, healthcare PR professional sought to provide the client and team lead across 2 major pharma client accounts in the area of oncology and cardiovascular. Must be passionate about the development and delivery of innovative & inspirational PR programmes, and less motivated by being bogged down with operational responsibility. You will work in a truly unique culture, dynamic and stimulating, free of traditional agency hierarchies and job titles, allowing everybody to shine, voice opinions and ideas, and progress and take on responsibility according to their ability.
Job Duties:
You will provide the strategic business lead for a portfolio of global client PR programmes. You will be responsible for overall performance of accounts and directing account team activity, negotiating and establishing financial arrangements and monitoring financial performance. You will direct the strategic development of programme and individual accounts and provide client counsel, contributing to client marketing strategy and thinking. You will monitor external environment and analyse key issues/crisis and counsel client on implications and action. You will have key contact with KOLs, and maintain market intelligence on KOL opinions on external/product/competition. In addition you will retain up to date knowledge and relations with key editors and be responsible for educating client in media relations and introducing client to selected press.
Job Qualifications:
Must have:- Proven track record in running large ethical healthcare PR programmes
Experience of working in oncology or CV desirable
