Job Duties:
You will be responsible for the development, management and timely delivery of a diverse portfolio of healthcare communication programmes. You will take the lead role in ensuring that programme deliverables are met on time and within budget and with measurable outcomes. You will take an active role in the financial profitability of client business and exploit new business opportunities within your current portfolio. In addition you will work closely with the senior management team with new business iniatives. You will provide strong leadership and coaching to junior team members and assist in their development with ongoing support and counsel. You must demonstrate energy and enthusiasm to ongoing work and build morale within the team and encourage ideas generation and proactivity. You will be encouraged to develop your strategic ability by providing the client with added value solutions which will be assisted in proactive market intelligence. Using your key journalistic knowledge and contacts you will continue to build new media contacts and sustain existing ones and be able to increase the rate of successful coverage by identifying new angles.
Job Qualifications:
You must possess strong planning, creative and strategic thinking skills, as well as a proven ability to manage accounts and account teams. Your sound industry knowledge must be complimented by your client servicing skills and specific media relations with key journalists. Previous PR experience gained within the pharmaceutical industry or healthcare arena.
