Job Background:
Independent growing agency focusing on the production of high quality medical education programmes.
Job Duties:
To lead, direct and manage programmes and projects and to be responsible and accountable for delivery of projects to achieve agreed financial, quality and time targets, ensuring maximum client satisfaction.

Programme direction/management on nominated accounts/projects
Responsible for managing profitability of own projects
Proactive and productive maintenance of key client / opinion leader relationships
Identifying and developing roll-on business within existing accounts
Chair / manage nominated advisory boards / events

Responsibilities:

Provision of strategic direction of accounts encompassing all aspects of programme/project development.
Ensure full understanding of market issues, client company and project strategic objectives.
Review projects for scientific accuracy, therapeutic relevance and key marketing messages.
Review projects for quality assurance and high standards.
Full financial responsibility for nominated accounts.
Provide input and support on proposal development.
Identify and develop new and roll-on business opportunities within own accounts.
Review key materials / projects to ensure on-target, on-strategy, on-time and budget and of highest quality, accuracy and creativity.
Develop and maintain strong relationships with key clients / opinion leaders.
Provide CSD / Company Directors with regular updates / feedback regarding progress and resourcing of accounts.

To ensure accuracy of budgets and schedules prior to sign off by CSD / Company Directors.
Be responsible for all aspects of project briefing, planning, scheduling, budgets and resourcing on nominated accounts.
Make recommendations for improved implementation of processes and procedures, so as to improve efficiency and profitability of projects.
To set example by complying with and endorsing company procedures.
To deputise for the Client Service Director, where appropriate.

Job Qualifications:
Excellent commercial awareness and understanding and broad experience of all aspects of financial management

Excellent organisational and written and verbal communication skills

Ability to work independently on all aspects of pharmaceutical marketing
Excellent, proven logistic and project management skills
Proactive problem solver
Excellent interpersonal skills

Degree in medicine, pharmacy, life sciences, marketing or other relevant area.
Understanding of pharmaceutical Marketing, Branding and Advertising processes and implementation.
Experience in international pharmaceutical company/medical education agency.
Experience of implementing pharmaceutical strategic marketing programmes including KOL development.
